About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Scrubbing experience CardioLab experience Cath Lab experience Call required (6-9 days of call per month) Description: These needs are specifically for winter coverage for a 10-week contract. Candidates must start by 12/18/2026. No holiday requests for time off. No more than 5 days off requested time. Call is required, with 6-9 days of call per month. The Cath Lab operates 24/7 for cardiac emergencies. Call during weekdays is from 5:15 PM to 7 AM. Weekend call is 24 hours each day. The Cath Lab performs multiple invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures in the adult population. These procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral catheterizations, stent implants, IABP, Impella, EKOS, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, Penumbra, Pericardiocentesis, Shockwave, and IVC filters. TEEs and Cardioversions are also performed in the department. The department performs TAVRs and MitraClips in conjunction with the hybrid operating room. The most frequent medical diagnoses include Coronary Artery Disease, Myocardial Infarction, Unstable Angina, Aortic/Mitral Valve Disease, and Peripheral Vascular Disease. RNs will float as needed. Charting will be done using EPIC. All scrubs will be provided for this role.
