Team Lead, Accounting AssistantGP Recycling is seeking an Accounting Assistant / Team Lead to join our team in Dothan, AL. In this role, you will provide accounting support, customer service, and day-to-day team lead support across a variety of situations. The ideal candidate brings strong financial discipline, sound judgment, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to help guide the team through priorities, issue resolution, and process improvements. You should also be an active learner who is adaptable, collaborative, and energized by a fast-paced environment.Location: GP offers some location flexibility, but this role requires multiple in-office days each week to support collaboration and relationship building. We are seeking candidates who live within commuting distance of our Dothan office.The broader GP Finance & Accounting organization supports more than 125 operating locations across the U.S., along with our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Team members are expected to take ownership of the processes they support and think like entrepreneurs. This role reports to a Manager of Accounting and will help provide day-to-day guidance, prioritization, and support for team members while continuing to own accounting responsibilities.
