Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Position: Supervisor Social Worker Location: Addison, ILSchedule: Part-Time | Approximately 4-6 Hours Per MonthPay Rate: Competitive and Negotiable Based on ExperiencePosition Overview: Birch Agency is seeking a qualified and experienced Supervisor Social Worker to provide clinical supervision and professional mentorship to two school-based Social Workers serving high school students in the Addison and Carol Stream, Illinois areas.This position is ideal for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is passionate about developing clinicians' skills and supporting high-quality social work services within educational settings. The role requires a combination of in-person and virtual supervision and provides an opportunity to impact both staff development and student outcomes.Supervision Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision for two school-based Social Workers.Conduct a minimum of one hour of supervision weekly, totaling approximately 4-6 hours per month.Deliver supervision through a combination of in-person meetings and live virtual sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.Review and support professional practice, documentation, and ethical decision-making.Provide guidance on complex student cases and school-based interventions.Support Social Workers in maintaining compliance with professional standards and best practices.Areas of Focus for Supervision: The Supervisor will provide coaching, consultation, and professional development in the following areas:Conducting and interpreting social work assessmentsWriting comprehensive reports and documentationDeveloping and writing effective IEP goalsCollaborating and communicating with familiesManaging challenging or contentious parent interactionsIdentifying and accessing community resources for students and familiesDiscussing and problem-solving specific student cases from Social Workers' active caseloadsStrengthening clinical skills and intervention strategies within a high school settingProgram Locations: The two Social Workers currently requiring supervision are located at:Carol Stream, ILAddison, ILBoth Social Workers provide services to high school-aged students.Required Qualifications: Active Illinois LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) OR LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) license requiredMinimum of two (2) years of professional experience following licensureExperience providing clinical supervision, coaching, or mentoring preferredKnowledge of school-based social work practices and educational environments preferredStrong communication, leadership, and consultation skillsAbility to provide both in-person and live virtual supervisionWork Environment: Flexible part-time scheduleHybrid supervision model utilizing both in-person and virtual meetingsCollaborative educational and mental health environmentOpportunity to support and develop early-career professionalsStrong administrative and recruiter support from Birch AgencyWhy Work with Birch Agency?
