This fully remote position offers the opportunity to support a busy legal team from anywhere in Illinois. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and skilled in producing and formatting high-quality legal documents with precision and speed. Responsibilities Create, edit, and format a wide range of legal documents accurately and efficiently Perform transcription from audio dictation, as well as PDF‑to‑Word conversions and document cleanups Generate redlines and reformat complex layouts, tables, and numbering Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure consistency and quality across all materials Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 3–5 years of experience in a similar document production or word processing role preferred Typing speed of at least 80 wpm Advanced proficiency in MS Word (styles, tables, TOCs/TOAs, numbering, mail merges, etc.) Working knowledge of Excel (charts, formulas, formatting) and PowerPoint (creating/modifying presentations) Strong grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills Must be located in Illinois This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and dependable professional who takes pride in producing top-quality work.
