As a Front Desk Agent at Springhill Suites - Richmond Hill, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming experience by assisting guests with check-in/check-out, answering questions, managing reservations, and resolving concerns with professionalism and care.

*The candidate selected for this full-time position must have open availability and be able to work mornings, evenings, and occasional overnight shifts. *

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Night Audit: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out
• Process payments and manage guest accounts
• Book, modify, and cancel reservations
• Answer guest questions and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
• Answer phones and respond to emails as needed
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow hotel safety, security, and privacy procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and telephone etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed.
