Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: 18:45-07:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse, including at least 1 year in an emergency room setting. - Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department. Description: This position requires a rapid response nurse in an emergency department. The nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Patient ratios typically are 4:1, and can increase to 7:1 for behavioral holds. There will be support techs available for cardiac monitoring and triage. The use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited on all campuses. The facility observes strict attendance policies. This department is known for its welcoming personalities and strong teamwork. Staff members experience and serve a diverse community with multiple languages. Advanced skills are required, with various procedures performed in the unit. Documentation will be handled using a specified electronic system. Scheduling will require every other weekend availability and flexibility. Floating will occur within the emergency department as needed. The candidate must demonstrate respectful behavior and adhere to patient experience protocols.
