Job Summary: The Vista, an upscale casual restaurant in Greenville, SC, is seeking skilled and personable servers who share our passion for creating memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality and sincere appreciation for our guests. As a Server at The Vista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' satisfaction by providing attentive service, making menu recommendations, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.Key Responsibilities:Genuine Hospitality: Greet guests warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their dining experience. Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor, demonstrating sincere appreciation for our guests' patronage.Attentive Service: Take and accurately record guests' food and beverage orders, and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff. Be attentive to guests' needs throughout their meal, ensuring timely delivery of courses and refilling beverages as needed.Menu Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of The Vista's menu offerings, including daily specials and wine selections. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests, catering to their preferences and dietary restrictions.Memorable Experiences: Strive to create exceptional dining experiences for each guest, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
