Position Summary The Full Stack Java Developer – The CSMS Program is responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the Comprehensive Servicing and Monitoring System, a long‑standing HUD accounting and servicing application. This role requires a developer who can work across the full application stack, understand complex business logic, resolve defects, implement enhancements, support releases, and collaborate closely with product ownership, QA, database, configuration management, infrastructure, and security teams. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise Java web applications using Java, JSF, PrimeFaces, and related technologies. Develop and maintain backend business logic using Java EE / Jakarta EE frameworks and enterprise application patterns. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database‑backed business workflows. Develop, consume, and support RESTful web services and APIs. Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement stable defect resolutions. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and release activities. Collaborate with Product Owners, QA analysts, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and security teams to deliver production‑quality software. Support regression testing, data validation, release readiness, and post‑deployment verification. Assist with build, deployment, and configuration management activities. Maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, and deployment procedures. Ensure compliance with federal security, accessibility, and operational standards. Contribute to modernization initiatives, technical debt reduction, and long‑term application maintainability. Qualifications Experience Requirements 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong experience developing enterprise Java web applications. Hands‑on experience with Java, Java EE / Jakarta EE, JSF, and PrimeFaces. Strong SQL and relational database experience. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
