Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Spanish Patrol in Pomona, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy grocery location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist with customer interactions. This role offers the chance to stay active, build strong communication skills, and deliver service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a dynamic environment.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, helping to verify authorized entry, observe visitor activity, and/or support orderly operations during busy business hours.
- Support loss prevention and other security-related efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and/or following site protocols related to incidents involving theft, trespassing, or disorderly conduct.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
