Role Description The LEAD FOREMAN is a full-time, on-site role based in Chatham, MA, responsible for supervising and coordinating daily property maintenance and improvement activities. This role oversees field crews, assigns tasks, and ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards across multiple properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning jobs, reviewing work orders, organizing materials and equipment, and providing hands-on support with repairs, landscaping, and general upkeep. The LEAD FOREMAN communicates with property managers and team members, documents completed work, and identifies issues requiring follow-up or additional service. This position also supports training of staff, promotes safe work practices, and helps maintain a professional and respectful work environment. Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising crews and coordinating daily work activities. Hands-on property maintenance experience (e.g., basic carpentry, repairs, groundskeeping, and general building upkeep). Ability to read and follow work orders, job plans, and safety guidelines, with strong attention to detail and quality standards. Effective communication skills for interacting with property managers, team members, and vendors. Proven ability to organize schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Commitment to safety practices and compliance with relevant codes and regulations. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Chatham, MA. Prior experience in property management, facilities, construction, or a related field is preferred.
