Critical Care Registered Nurse - Sturgis, South Dakota

Schedule/Hours:

• Predominantly 12-hour night shifts in the ICU
• Occasional day shifts available in the PCU

Qualifications:

• Active RN license for South Dakota or a current multi-state/compact license
• Previous experience in ICU settings highly preferred
• Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
• Strong ability to collaborate with physicians, patients, and families
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care to individuals with critical and complex health conditions in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support advanced life-saving interventions
• Assess patient needs, implement care plans, and promptly recognize changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with medical teams and contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and respond to their concerns with empathy
