Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist. Measure and record resident’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance. Treat residents with varieties of techniques in a Skilled Nursing setting as well as in an Adult Day model. Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential. Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort. Qualifications Must comply with federal and state professional requirements: graduate from an accredited PTA program, maintain a current PTA license, and be CPR certified. Experience with heavy work: continual and repetitive motions, heavy lifting, bending, stooping, twisting, pulling, pushing, prolonged walking and standing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
