Travel Registered Nurse / CVORWe are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires expertise in a range of cardiovascular procedures.The Travel RN will be responsible for:Circulating complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases, including:Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)Ascending Aortic AneurysmsAortic Root ReplacementsAbdominal Aortic Aneurysm RepairsFemoral-Popliteal BypassCarotid EndarterectomyAV Fistula ProceduresImpella PlacementExtracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) CasesThoracotomyRobotic ThoracotomyMaintaining a patient ratio of 1:1.Working effectively within the provided operating room suites.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Valid RN licensure in the state of practice.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.2 to 4 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery.Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably Cerner.This position requires day shifts from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM. Call requirements include one night per week and every sixth weekend. Candidates must be available for travel, as local candidates are not accepted.The role involves a high degree of collaboration with other healthcare professionals in a cardiovascular surgical setting, emphasizing patient care and safety.Scrubs are provided by the facility.
