Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool (Nights)

Location

Albany, New York

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float to a variety of ICU environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide care for ICU and progressive care patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Deliver competent, high-acuity nursing care across multiple critical care settings within the same facility
• Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and unit protocols as part of a critical care float pool team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability and willingness to float across multiple critical care units
• Must complete a competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
• Prior experience floating to a variety of ICU settings highly desired
• Familiarity with progressive critical care and step-down patient populations
