Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to neonates (including <24 weeks gestation)
• Manage high-risk deliveries and stabilize newborns
• Administer medications including vasopressors, antibiotics, surfactants, and steroids
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures:
  • UAC/UVC line management
  • Arterial lines & central line care
  • Lumbar puncture assistance
• Operate advanced respiratory equipment:
  • Ventilators (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP)
  • High Frequency Ventilation & Nitric Oxide
  • Bubble CPAP & HFNC
• Support feeding methods (breast, bottle, gavage) and manage GI complications (NEC)
• Deliver family-centered care, education, and emotional support

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2+ years of NICU experience (Level III preferred)
• Previous travel experience REQUIRED
• Experience with high-acuity neonatal cases and ventilator management
• Strong background in:
  • Neonatal resuscitation & stabilization
  • Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling)
  • Neonatal abstinence syndrome
  • APGAR scoring & developmental care

✅ Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE Certification
• PALS (Preferred)

• Self-scheduling model
• Float: May float to Pediatrics & Nursery
