Job specification

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and behavioral health conditions
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments
• Work collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers
• Respond to psychiatric crises with appropriate de-escalation techniques and interventions
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner according to hospital standards
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Follow established protocols for suicide precautions, fall risks, and patient restraints when necessary

Candidate requirements

• Current RN license in Washington.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in MedSurg, behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing
• BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and respond calmly to emergencies
