The Winslow Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Overnight Housekeeping Attendant to help maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of our boutique hotel during overnight hours.

This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, takes pride in creating exceptionally clean and welcoming spaces, and understands that the details guests may never see are often what make a hotel feel cared for.

The Overnight Housekeeping Attendant is primarily responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms and public areas, completing detailed cleaning projects, and preparing the hotel for the following day's operations .

Unlike a traditional daytime room attendant position, the overnight shift provides an opportunity to complete more intensive cleaning and maintenance of guest spaces with minimal disruption to our guests.

$14 - $15 hourly

• Perform scheduled deep cleaning of guest rooms , including detailed bathroom, bedroom, furniture, fixture, and floor cleaning.

• Complete detailed cleaning projects that cannot easily be performed while rooms and public spaces are in active use.

• Deep clean showers, tile, grout, fixtures, baseboards, doors, walls, vents, furniture, and other assigned areas.

• Move or reposition appropriate furniture as needed to clean underneath and behind furnishings.

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish, sanitize, and disinfect assigned areas.

• Complete detailed cleaning of hotel corridors, elevators, stairwells, lobby areas, public restrooms, and other guest-facing spaces.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.

• Restock housekeeping supplies and prepare materials needed for the following day's housekeeping operation.

• Identify and report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, unusual room conditions, missing items, or safety concerns.

• Properly handle and report guest property or Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures.

• Follow established procedures regarding guest privacy, room access, key control, and hotel security.

• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment according to established safety procedures.

• Complete assigned nightly cleaning projects and document work performed.

• Assist with other housekeeping or hotel operational needs as assigned.

Because this position works during hours when most guests are sleeping, professionalism, discretion, and noise awareness are essential .

The Overnight Housekeeping Attendant must be comfortable working independently and remaining productive without continuous direct supervision. Assigned projects and productivity expectations must be completed during each shift.

Team members must also understand that overnight hotel operations can change based on occupancy and guest needs. Flexibility and a willingness to assist where needed are important parts of the position.

Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull; operate housekeeping equipment; move appropriate furniture and supplies; and safely lift and carry items commonly associated with hotel housekeeping duties.

Overnight availability is required. Weekends and holidays may be required based on hotel occupancy and operational needs.
