CytologistLocation: Tucson, AZSchedule: Full-time (DAYS)We are looking for an experienced Cytologist to join a highly skilled team at a cutting-edge medical center. You'll work in rotation with other cytologists, performing screenings for samples while also utilizing digital cytology. This is a great opportunity to directly impact patient diagnostic care in a state-of-the-art laboratory.Responsibilities:Provide Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) and adequacy assessments for FNA procedures, including EBUS, ENB, and robotic-assisted procedures.Screen NGYN and FNA samples to ensure accurate diagnostic results.Perform digital cytology as part of advanced diagnostic processes.Job Requirements:Completion of a cytotechnology program from a CAAHEP schoolASCP certification or eligibilityA Bachelor's degreeAbility to achieve 90% on an internal proficiency test during the interview.Must pass annual CAP-PT (or approved alternative) and maintain proficiency on quarterly GYN CAP mailings.24 continuing education credits required annually.Bonus points for:ThinPrep CertificationAdditional Information:Nature: The area is known for its beautiful attractions like Saguaro National Park and the Sonoran Desert.
