Speech Language Pathologist

Chatterbox Therapy Center is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide specialized therapy services to children within the public-school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients and have a passion for helping them reach their full potential. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for overseeing an SLPA, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients. This role will start in August 2026. We are a small company in Addison, Texas and offer our employees ample support and development opportunities. Duties Provide mentorship and supervision of at least1 SLP-Assistant Provide therapy to a small caseload Setting: Private Schools North and West Dallas (Elementary to High School) Maintain open communication with Chatterbox Therapy Center, assigned school district and families by checking email/phone regularly. Maintain accurate record-keeping of hours worked on timesheets, and be sure to submit them in a timely manner to Chatterbox Therapy Center Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans (IEP) for students Provide speech therapy sessions to children, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate families on communication strategies and techniques to support their child's development at home. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans. Stay current with developments in the field of speech pathology through continuous education and training. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in a school setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
