Education Level: BS

Experience Level: Intermediate - 1-3 years

Specific job requirements: Learn all Ops cell jobs, so can fill in when Cell Supervisor is off. Saturday will be responsible for all Ops Cells running. Assist or do special projects.

Specific attributes: Quick learner, can adapt to situation at hand, good communicator, personable, can work with a union shop floor.

Job Description:

This position is for an Ops Support role. Will be required to learn all operations, so can cover when needed. Not required but if can find an operations person with entry level engineer skills that can assist with projects that will optimize the efficiency on the floor, research equipment when not covering for a supervisor on vacation. It will be for contracted Leased Labor Position (not SOW). Work week will be Tuesday through Saturday 6:00AM-2:30PM. OT will be a 5:00AM start. The job responsibilities would be as follows : • projects that will optimize the efficiency on the floor • Research Equipment • Ensure production schedule is maintained and on-track • Ensure all team members are up to date on training • Work with materials, engineering, and quality teams to ensure operations needs are met • Perform 6s inspections and close out open action items with team members Manufacturing environment experience a plus. Union shop experience a plus.
