Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
• Assist with and support vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including circulating in the OR
• Administer blood and blood products; manage drains, epidural pumps, and PCA pumps
• Administer medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
• Perform adult IV starts and apply fetal heart monitoring (FHM) skills
• Float between care areas as needed, including high-risk antepartum, LDRP, couplet care, and OB-GYN; staffing ratio is 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• BLS certification required
• FHM certification required
• NRP certification required
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler; local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience circulating in cesarean section procedures
• Experience in high-risk antepartum and high-risk Labor and Delivery settings
