Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and dependable Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of one of our Henderson, KY locations. In this leadership role, you’ll assist the Store Manager in running a smooth, customer-focused store while helping to train, lead, and inspire a great team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Store Manager in all aspects of operations including inventory, scheduling, and team development
Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a welcoming store environment
Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, safety standards, and merchandising displays
Help manage cash handling procedures and daily financial tasks
Step into a leadership role when the Store Manager is off-duty
Coach team members to meet sales and service goals
Uphold Ideal Market’s values of integrity, reliability, and community

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in retail, convenience, or food service (leadership experience preferred)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Customer-first mindset with a passion for teamwork
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Dependable and organized with attention to detail
Must be 20 or older
