The Hydraulic Project Engineer will perform engineering calculations, technical studies and prepares plans and specifications for a wide variety of projects, including impact analysis, roadway drainage and master drainage plans. Provides general oversight, control, and management of H&H analysis and design tasks for a project. Perform client and project management duties. Prepares technical reports and letters.In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:Lead the development of drainage impact studies, master plans and engineering reports (including CLOMRS & LOMRS)Lead the development of project design concepts, criteria, construction plans and reviews project documents for conformity and quality assuranceWork with client and other disciplines to prepare appropriate designs, as dictated by the scope of workAnalyze complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or proceduresConsults with construction personnel concerning design constructabilityProvide input for proposals and pursuit of new projectsSupervision of junior level staffMakes recommendations on project staffingCommunicates independently with clientsWhat you will bring to our firm:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is requiredProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license4 to 10 Years of relevant experience involving H&H ProjectsExperience with Project proposals and PresentationsExpertise with ArcGIS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, XP SWMM (1D/2D), AutoCAD/MicroStation (preferred)Compensation: The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $135,000.
