Step into a rare leadership opportunity at Childrens Hospital of Richmond at VCU Health (CHoR), where academic medicine, clinical impact, and systems-based care intersect. The Department of Pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine seeks a pediatric hospitalist to serve as Division Chief of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a well-established, academically mature divisionhome to Virginias only ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowshipwhile helping shape its next phase of growth within a rapidly expanding childrens hospital.

Reporting directly to the Chair of Pediatrics, the Division Chief will lead the clinical, academic, and educational missions of Pediatric Hospital Medicine across CHoR and the broader VCU Health system. This leader will mentor a diverse faculty, collaborate closely with hospital and health system leadership, and steward inpatient pediatric care strategy during a period of increasing volumes, service expansion, and institutional investment.

Qualifications: Board-certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine;5 + years of clinical experience in pediatric hospital medicine; demonstrated leadership or program development experience; and qualifications for appointment at the Associate Professor level.
