Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related concerns, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, people‑first approach each day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.16 / Hour Job Schedule Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with staff and first responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining aware of unusual activity and/or conditions that could require follow‑up. Help to monitor access points, lobbies, and restricted areas, verifying authorized entry and reporting unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns. Support a professional environment within a healthcare location by offering directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or security‑related issues. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
