Job Overview:
We are seeking an efficient and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greet patients and complete the patient check-in process
- Answer phone calls, send faxes, check mail
- Check patients out, collect balances due, schedule specialist and return appointments, and any hospital tests.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus, but not required
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist for 2 or more years
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
- Flexibility to cover and exchange shifts is essential to prevent our office from being short-staffed during employee vacation time. This is due to the small size of our office. We have a strong team that works well together and provide eachother with flexibility through covering/swapping shifts.

We offer competitive pay based on experience and also provide 40 hours/year of PTO, which exceeds state minimum requirements for part-time employees.

We are a busy office that works strongly as a team. We are excited to bring a new staff member on board! Position is 8:30-4:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 8:30-12:30 on Fridays.
