Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,499 per week

Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Description & Requirements

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed

Required: 26-week contracts. Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Job Summary:

• Provide respiratory therapy services for all age levels in various areas served by the department.
• Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
• Record treatment information and patient responses in computerized medical records.
• Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring.
• Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned and maintained.
• Participate in quick response teams for cardiac and respiratory arrests.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment operation.
• Clinical decision-making skills related to pulmonary and cardiac systems.
• Ability to interpret patient information to identify needs.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under stress and maintain effective relationships with coworkers.
• Basic computer skills.
