A part-time nursing opportunity is available in the Niagara Falls, NY area supporting a K-12 student with complex medical needs in an out-of-district school setting. This role offers approximately 20 hours per week (about 4 hours daily), primarily during the Extended School Year (ESY) with potential continuation into the next school year. Key Responsibilities Include Providing 1:1 nursing care during bus rides to and from school Monitoring tracheostomy and performing tube suctioning as needed Managing the students complex medical requirements with professionalism and attention to detail Collaborating with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license is required Experience in tracheostomy care and suctioning is essential Comfort and confidence in supporting medically fragile students in a school environment Ability to work well independently in a 1:1 setting This contract position begins ASAP and continues through the end of the next school year.
