Puget Sound Home Health & Hospice is expanding and seeking an experienced Hospice RN to provide high‑quality after‑hours hospice nursing care across Thurston, Grays Harbor, and Mason counties. Accountability Passion for Learning Love One Another Intelligent Risk Taking Celebration Ownership Key Responsibilities Provide autonomous, high‑impact clinical care to patients and families facing advanced illness. Deliver after‑hours hospice nursing visits, urgent care interventions, and skilled assessments. Complete in‑person visits as required and assigned by Triage RN. Provide pain and symptom management in accordance with hospice standards of care. Educate patients and families on hospice philosophy, medications, and care expectations. Document all assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently. Communicate promptly with the interdisciplinary hospice team (IDT) to ensure continuity of care. Participate in QAPI and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Hospice agency experience required. Current AHA BLS certification. Strong clinical assessment and independent decision‑making skills. Ability to work autonomously during evening, night, and early‑morning hours. Reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver’s license.
