Role Overview Performs clinical and clerical activities to support patient flow and office operations in a medical setting. Responsibilities Assist providers and nurses to ensure quality healthcare and smooth patient flow. Prepare patients by taking vital signs and screening health. Obtain lab specimens and support clinical procedures, including point-of-care testing. Maintain a safe, clean environment, ensuring proper disposal of supplies and instrument decontamination. Support office tasks such as scheduling follow-ups, answering calls, and managing charts. Provide patient education and assist with office procedures and exams. Participate in continuing education and maintain knowledge of safety policies and office systems. Qualifications And Skills Certifications such as RMA, CCMA, CMA, or equivalent; BLS within 30 days. High school diploma or GED. Ability to work independently, demonstrate flexibility, and possess excellent communication skills.
