Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health position in California, requiring an active CA RN license and at least one year of recent home health experience.

Job Details

• Home health care setting with community-based patient visits,
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with one weekend commitment per four-week schedule (same hours),
• Typical productivity expectation includes a Start of Care (SOC) and 3 routine visits (RVs), or up to 5 RVs in a day,
• RN travelers assist with Start of Cares (SOC), Resumption of Cares (ROC), recertifications, and daily visits,
• Charting system: Homecare Homebase (HCHB); experience strongly preferred,
• 13-week contract with 8-hour shifts,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; must be active at time of consideration - pending licenses will not be accepted,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience overall, with at least 1 year of home health experience within the last 2 years,
• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted,
• HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR experience strongly preferred,
• Valid driver's license required,

Additional Information

• Two professional references are required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked - both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered,
• Discretionary consideration is given to clinicians who travel more than 60 miles in a single day; mileage is not separately billable,
• 12-hour orientation included with this assignment
