Position NewLimit is seeking an Senior Manager, Lab Operations with extensive experience in a life science laboratory setting to join our Operations team. Our Operations team is focused on increasing the speed and efficiency of our scientific research programs so we can deliver more value to patients, more quickly. As Senior Manager, Lab Operations, you'll lead a team and work closely with scientists and engineers to design, build, and scale infrastructure and processes that accelerate our pace of discovery. What you'll do In your role you will: Lead and mentor lab operations staff while you work with our team of scientists and engineers to build and operate a world-class functional genomics lab, taking on different challenges every week. Own the strategy for procurement, maintain lab infrastructure, manage inventory, and increase the efficiency of NewLimit's research operations Develop and manage the lab operations budget, and cultivate relationships with vendors across the biomedical research industry, negotiating contracts and pricing as needed Identify operational bottlenecks across the organization and drive cross-functional solutions to fix them #J-18808-Ljbffr NewLimit
