Join Our Team And Experience Endless Career PossibilitiesThis position is responsible for greeting hotel guests in a warm and sincere manner and providing outstanding customer service.Primary Duties And Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:Assists hotel guests with check-in and reservationsAssists guests with various requests and needs and coordinates details with necessary departments or vendorsAssists with making dinner and golf reservations and provides a professionally written confirmation to the guestAssists guests with transportation arrangements and directionsProvides detailed information about Mohegan Sun, its property and the surrounding area to both internal and external guestsSecondary Duties And Responsibilities:Assists in other areas of Hotel Operations, including Aquai reception and Front DeskAssists the Front Desk with processing Express Check-outsRegisters guests, assigns rooms and issues keysProcures accurate payment methods and manages a daily cash tillMinimum Education And Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentOne year of customer relations experience in a hotelMust be able to effectively communicate in EnglishCompetencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer skills in Word, Excel and Lotus NotesKnowledge of LMS, ACSC, HMS, Espresso, LRS, Timelox, DC-1, Hotel paging system, RPOS, Telecheck systems and any other software system used in Hotel OperationsExtensive knowledge of the property and local areas and destinationsPossesses a high level of maturity to deal with the most discriminating guest requests and requirementsTraining Requirements:Knowledge of systems used by Hotel OperationsPhysical Demands And Work Environment:Office work environmentMust be able to stand, reach, bend or sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hoursThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
