The ability to multi-task in a fast paced proto-type manufacturing environment is required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.What does a Project Manager do at SpecSys? Maintain a clean and organized work environmentResponsibility for all project documentationResearch questions related to the fabrication, welding, painting and assembly of customer projects and communicate the answers to the shop floor personnelCoordinate delivery of outsourced components with the purchasing department to ensure vendor supplied parts are delivered in a timely mannerAct as a primary focal point for customer contact during the manufacturing phase of a projectMonitor manufacturing progress against predetermined timeline milestones and advise management personnel of timelines changes and ECO's that take place during the course of a projectCreate shop floor work orders and properly structure Bills of Material (BOM) to reflect raw material assignments for in-house work or outsourcing sequences followed by in-house machining / welding / assembly / paintEnsure DXF files are created for laser and burn tablesWill spend 30% to 50% of time on the shop floorWhat are we looking for in a quality candidate?
