Manager interviews required. Facility has 411 licensed beds. Level II trauma center. 22 operating rooms available. Travelers are preferred to have at least one prior travel assignment. Case types include all ages from pediatrics to adults with 26 service lines offered. Pediatric cases primarily involve ENT, general surgery, and orthopedic surgeries. Neurosurgery cases are highly preferred with a focus on craniotomies, tumor resections, TLIF, and fusions. General surgical cases include trauma and laparoscopic procedures such as open bellies, bowel surgeries, gallbladder removals, and more. Vascular experience is preferred but not required. Urology cases involve laser lithotripsy, nephroureteral stents, and TURPs. ENT cases include endoscopic procedures and thyroid surgeries. GYN cases cover tubal ligations, DCs, and hysterectomies. Orthopedic cases include total joints and trauma with a focus on fractures and sports medicine. Experience with robotic surgeries, particularly the Da Vinci XI, is preferred. Average of 60 cases performed per day. Required certifications include BLS, and CST is preferred. Technological proficiency in Cerner is necessary for RNs. Anesthesia tech will assist with room turnover, alongside charge RNs and team leads for each service line. Call requirements include 2-3 call shifts per 4-week schedule period for RNs. Night shift staff will not have call requirements but may be scheduled for weekends. Workers should expect to be on call during emergencies or covering call outs. Holiday expectations may vary but are minimal based on the schedule. Surgical scrubs will be provided for the role.
