About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Real Estate Accounting to lead and drive impactful accounting operations for its global real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize strategic growth initiatives. Key duties include analyzing financial statements, engaging with external auditors and tax professionals, and preparing financial materials for stakeholders. The role also involves managing and overseeing outsourced accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence, and contributing to the implementation of innovative accounting strategies. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, CPA certification, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in real estate accounting. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and fair value reporting standards is essential, as is proven expertise in managing complex real estate investment structures and agreements. The role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a demonstrated commitment to meeting strict deadlines. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders and will be dedicated to contributing to the success of a leading global investment firm in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
