RN - PCU

PCU Registered Nurse - Resource Float Pool

Join a diversely skilled team as a PCU Registered Nurse in the Resource Float Pool. This role involves floating throughout two campuses to provide necessary support in various Adult Health units, including Observation, Med Surg, PCU, and IMC. The position may also require occasional floating to the Emergency Department (ED) or Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings.
• Float between various Adult Health units based on operational needs.
• Provide support in the ED or PACU as required for Adult Health patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience required.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on the state license to practice.
• Active RN license to practice verified within the last 30 days.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• A driver's license is required to verify residency.
