Vascular SonographerAs a vascular sonographer, you will complete all functions necessary in performing quality peripheral and abdominal vascular ultrasound examinations.Essential Functions of the Role:Supports patient care by performing echocardiogram procedures, educating the patient on the process and answering any questions they may haveDemonstrates proficiency with the use of ultrasound equipment and associated procedures.Routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians and other health practitioners running efficiently.Appropriately acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physicianAssures accuracy data for clinical reports, demographics and billing information for physician reportsShows a high degree of judgment and skill in use of sonographic equipment.Ensures that equipment is constantly functional and maintained for immediate use.Maintains records and reports on equipment and procedures performedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.DCurrent ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible and pass registry within one year of hireGraduate of an accredited ultrasound programA valid driver's licenseBLS or ACLS (Will need to obtain within 30 days of hire)Desired Qualifications:1-2 years of experience in dedicated vascular ultrasoundOne (1) years' experience preferred as an ultrasound technologist. Vascular experience preferred.Work EnvironmentThis position is a clinical position and will report to the office 4 days per week, day shift, for a total of 32-36 hours per week. Exact hours and day shift are negotiable.Physical RequirementsThis position requires a full range of body motion.
