Sanitation Technician Retention Bonus Our Sanitation Technicians are the backbone of our operations, and we value the hard work you do every day. To reward our most reliable team members at this location, we are offering a $1,500 Retention Bonus paid out over your first year: Starting Strong (3 Months): Receive $500 after your first 90 days. Hitting the Mark (6 Months): Receive an additional $500 . Anniversary Reward (1 Year): Receive a final $500 to celebrate your first year with the team. Bonus Terms Payouts are subject to the employee being in good standing, meeting performance expectations, and maintaining a 100% attendance record (excluding approved PTO and documented illness) during each milestone period. Total, Bonus: $1,500 Your Role: Sanitation Technician As a Sanitation Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of food safety, working as part of a team to clean and sanitize food production facilities. You’ll use specialized equipment and chemicals to remove debris, sanitize machinery, and prepare the plant to meet strict USDA, FDA, and customer standards. This is a physical role that requires focus, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll report to a Site Manager and work alongside fellow team members to make sure every shift ends with a safe and spotless facility. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas in assigned sections of the plant. Dismantle and reassemble equipment to ensure thorough cleaning. Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow all usage guidelines. Inspect equipment and areas to confirm readiness for pre‑op inspections. Follow all company and regulatory safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and HAZCOMM. Work efficiently to complete sanitation tasks within established timelines. Maintain open communication with teammates, supervisors, and plant staff. Support team members and assist with additional duties as needed. You’re dependable, honest, and accountable. What You Bring Willingness to perform physical work (bending, scrubbing, lifting, using hoses and equipment). Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments. Dependability and a positive attitude. Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality. No prior sanitation experience required — training provided. Bonus: Prior experience in sanitation, food processing, or industrial cleaning. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Job Details Job Type: Full‑time Schedule: Primarily overnight shifts; must be available for weekends and holidays. Environment: Food manufacturing plants (hot, cold, wet, and noisy conditions) Reporting To: Site Manager Minimum Age Requirement: Due to job duties and applicable operational and insurance requirements, individuals applying for this position must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for employment.
