Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg + Stepdown Float

Location: Globe, AZ
Shift: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Globe, Arizona. The selected candidate must be comfortable floating to Stepdown as needed and participating in on-call rotation.

This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong acute care experience who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg and Stepdown units

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required

• Ensure patient safety and adherence to facility protocols and standards

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

• Minimum 4 years of recent nursing experience required

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Must be willing to float to Stepdown units

• Holiday coverage required

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment

Additional Information

• 100-mile radius rule applies

• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions

• Maximum 3 days RTO allowed per contract

• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment
