Roanoke, VA General Shale Brick, Inc., the leading manufacturer of brick and masonry materials, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Industrial Cleaning Technician to join our Roanoke, VA manufacturing facility. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, supporting production operations, and contributing to a safe, team-oriented work environment. - Maintain department cleanliness standards to support safe and efficient operations.
- Operate industrial sweepers and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Shovel and remove debris as needed throughout the plant.
- Cross-train to provide lunch coverage and support production areas.
- Follow safety policies and work instructions at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including shoveling and general cleanup tasks.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
