Job Description Position OverviewOur focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Tower Loader, you will move pallets of merchandise from staging areas and load proper trailers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active\n \n \n Job Description\n \n \n Starting rate $19/hr with an earning potential of $25+/hr after training! \n \n Full Time, 3rd shift available \n \n Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday OR Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday \n \n 6pm start until done (overtime as required) \n \n Location: 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406 \n \n \n You will contribute by: \n \n \n Loading full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided. \n \n Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise \n \n Inspecting trailers for damage before loading. \n \n Utilizing RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets. \n \n Wrapping pallets with stretch wrap. \n \n Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product \n \n Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms \n \n Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels \n \n Keeping work area clean \n \n Performing other job related duties as assigned \n \n \n What’s a great way to stay in shape? \n \n \n Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift \n \n Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc. \n \n Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more \n \n Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead \n \n Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height \n \n Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools \n \n \n We offer: \n \n \n Paid training provided \n \n Weekly Pay \n \n Benefits available from day 1 (medical, dental, vision, company matched 401k) \n \n PTO and Holiday Pay offered \n \n In certain locations C&S offers $100 towards the purchase of safety shoes \n \n Career Progression Opportunities \n \n Tuition Reimbursement \n \n Employee Health & Wellness program \n \n Employee Discounts / Purchasing programs \n \n Employee Assistance Program \n \n \n Work Environment: \n \n \n Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F) \n \n See what its like to work here! \n \n \n We’re searching for candidates with: \n \n \n One or more years of experience operating a sit down forklift required \n \n Previous loading experience utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jack, etc. \n \n Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures \n \n Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others \n \n Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact our communities \n \n Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures \n \n \n The Fine Print \n This Job advertisement does not constitute a promise or guarantee of employment.
