Manufacturing Engineer

You will troubleshoot manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis (RCCA) to implement effective, lasting solutions. The role involves managing Engineering Change Orders and supporting CAPEX requests while mentoring other engineering technicians along the way. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:Lead manufacturing projects from start to finish, including creating project plans, managing budgets, and ensuring deadlines are met.Facilitate process improvements using Lean manufacturing tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S) to optimize layouts, improve material flow, and reduce waste.Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests, including justification and implementation of new equipment.Design and develop fixtures to support production and improve quality.Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis (RCCA) to implement effective, lasting solutions.Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and review/update manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions.Provide guidance and mentorship to a small team of manufacturing engineering technicians.YOU HAVE:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other related technical degree required.5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.Extensive experience with Lean manufacturing principles and tools.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and statistical analysis software (Minitab preferred).Experience with MRP/ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and PLM systems (Enovia preferred).Strong technical writing, communication, and project management skills.WE HAVE:A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every daynVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
