1st Employment is seeking a motivated and people-focused Staffing Specialist to join our Fayetteville, AR team. The Staffing Specialist will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and supporting employees while building strong relationships with both job seekers and client companies.


This is a fast-paced position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and helping individuals find meaningful employment opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and source qualified candidates for a variety of positions, including industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, and other roles.
• Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate applicants based on job requirements and client needs.
• Assist with the hiring and onboarding process, including completing required paperwork and verifying employment information.
• Communicate with applicants and employees throughout the hiring process and provide updates regarding job opportunities, schedules, and assignments.
• Provide bilingual support to Spanish-speaking candidates and employees to ensure clear communication throughout the staffing process.
• Maintain accurate employee and candidate records in staffing and applicant tracking systems.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employees by providing ongoing support and addressing questions or concerns.
• Communicate with client companies regarding staffing needs, employee performance, attendance, and other employment-related matters.
• Help resolve employee and client issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with employee safety concerns, workplace incidents, and injury-related documentation when needed.
• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, recruiting activities, and community outreach efforts.
• Post and promote open positions through appropriate recruiting channels.
• Make phone calls, send messages, and follow up with candidates regarding available positions.
• Assist with employee orientations and explain company policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, candidate, and client information.
• Perform general office and administrative duties as needed to support branch operations.
• Work as part of a team to meet recruiting, placement, and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or office experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking with people from a variety of backgrounds and professional levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and other office or staffing software.
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Must be comfortable making frequent phone calls and communicating with candidates and employees throughout the day.
