$69.7k - $100.19kContinental Maritime of San Diego, LLC
Job Description
Job Description
Employment Type : Full-Time | Salary | Exempt
Pay Range : $69,700 - $100,194
Location : Vigor Marine CM San Diego, 1995 Bay Front Street, San Diego, CA 92113
Who We Are
Vigor Marine CM San Diego, a Vigor Marine Group company, builds on the proud legacy of Continental Maritime of San Diego (CMSD) to stand as a vital force on the working waterfront. As a certified Master Ship Repair Contractor for the U.S. Navy, our teams have completed hundreds of ship repair and modernization projects for the Navy and Military Sealift Command, supported by emerging tools such as AI‑driven planning and historical data modeling to streamline schedule development and execution.
We perform maintenance and modernization on all classes of major surface vessels—including CVN, CG, and DDG—as well as amphibious ships such as LHD, LHA, LSD, and LPD, plus auxiliary ships. Beyond San Diego, Vigor operates full‑service ship repair facilities in Seattle, Portland, Norfolk, and key ports across the country, delivering everything from small craft and beach‑assault vessel construction to multimillion‑dollar overhauls of the Navy’s most advanced warfighting ships. Together, we support Fleet readiness and mission success with comprehensive Combatant, Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural expertise.
Who We Are Looking For
Planner Schedulers keep the Navy fleet running strong and we’re building a team that takes pride in making that happen every day. We want people who communicate with clarity, tackle technical challenges with confidence, and take pride in supporting a mission larger than themselves. Whether you’re an experienced planning leader ready to make a broader impact or early in your career and looking to build your expertise, there’s an opportunity to contribute and grow here.
In this role, you transform complex maintenance and modernization requirements into focused, actionable plans. You will build schedules, coordinate materials and labor, and guide production teams working on some of the Navy’s most advanced vessels. With vast resources for learning project management and technical planning across some of the largest industrial work in the nation, you gain a broad platform for career growth and the closest civilian connection to supporting our military’s mission.
You will also help shape the next generation of planning. Decades of maintenance and operational data now power emerging AI‑supported tools designed to strengthen prediction, streamline scheduling, and improve decision‑making. You will help bring this smarter, more efficient approach to life—unlocking new possibilities through the blend of your expertise and cutting‑edge technology.
If you thrive on structured problem‑solving, technical coordination, and meaningful impact, you will excel here. This is hands‑on experience, real growth, and a chance to contribute directly to the strength and readiness of the fleet. Step into a role where your work empowers teams, drives progress, and supports one of the nation’s most vital missions.
