Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21.00 per hourShifts:

• 2nd Shift (M-F, 3p-11p)
• 3rd Shift (S-Th, 11p-7a)
• 12 Hour Rotating Shift (7p-7a or 7a-7p, 1 week 3 days, next week 4 days)
• 12 Hour Rotating Weekend Shift (7p-7a, Friday-Sunday and every other Monday)
• Frequent pushing and pulling of material up to 12 hours per day
• Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting up to 12 hours per day

What’s a typical day as Production Technician? You’ll be:

• Operating machines used in the production process, including precision metal tube drawing and bull wheel processes
• Setting up equipment and ensuring products meet quality specifications
• Reading and following technical specifications, maintenance instructions, and procedures
• Applying expertise to complete tasks, provide solutions, and maintain performance using light system process
• Handling materials, labeling, paperwork, and using lift assist devices and PPE as required
• Documenting all work performed on production, receiving, and shipping documents or computer systems
• Performing in-process and visual inspections using magnification devices, gauges, and micrometers
• Maintaining segregation of conforming vs. non-conforming product
• Collaborating with engineering to improve current processes and participating in operational excellence initiatives
• Supporting overtime and mandatory overtime as business needs require
• Attending safety training and participating in safety committees and hazard analyses

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational schooling preferred)
• Possess 3 years of related work experience or 4+ years operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (medical device experience preferred)
• Are proficient with basic mathematics and able to work with small precision parts
• Can interpret technical drawings and blueprints and use precision measurement equipment
• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working with production materials for extended periods
• Can work frequent overtime, including weekends, as needed
• Are willing to undergo a background check and drug test (including THC)
