Rehabilitation Nurse

This position involves caring for patients in a rehabilitation setting. Candidates should be driven by a desire to observe patients, such as those recovering from strokes or fractures, achieve their goals of improved functional ability and independence. Join a dynamic multi-disciplinary team focused on comprehensive patient care. Patients will receive continuous medical supervision while engaging in rehabilitation programs. Patients benefit from 24-hour medical monitoring and support from various healthcare professionals. Daily rounds by providers contribute to the patient recovery process. Recovery aids include advanced therapy equipment designed to facilitate safe rehabilitation and improve recovery times. Candidates should have strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work within a team-oriented environment. Professional growth and development are encouraged through participation in patient care and rehabilitation strategies.

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty, with consideration given to candidates with 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license. Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted). AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required. Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Must be available for holidays as required and every other weekend.
