Travel Health Services Administrator Compensation Information: $130,000 - $140,000 / year Department (Org): Administration Key Responsibilities Monitor, evaluate and improve the implementation and effectiveness of procedures and programs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Oversee recruitment, orientation, and performance evaluations of employees, contractors and professional staff, as well as staff education and development programs. Ensure appropriate licensure, credentialing, and insurance coverage on all medical personnel, and maintain confidentiality and security of health records and medical information. Monitor and audit referrals, pharmacy use, inpatient hospitalizations, and potential catastrophic illnesses, and explore utilizing appropriate means of limiting both company and contractor liabilities. Promote Quality Improvement standards, attend seminars and conferences, function as a liaison between professional organizations, and accept on-call status. Qualifications & Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health‑related field preferred. Experience Delivery and administration of correctional medical, dental, and mental health care recommended. Three years administrative, management and supervisory experience. Sound decision‑making skills mandatory. Organizational experience in operations and planning required. Experience in managing budgets and analyzing contracts preferred.
