Warehouse Material Handler - Picker & Loader

Overview The Warehouse Material Handler – Picker & Loader is responsible for accurately picking, preparing, and loading materials for shipment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Responsibilities Pick materials and products according to pick lists, work orders, or RF scanner instructions Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers Verify product quantities, part numbers, and condition before shipment Stage, palletize, wrap, and secure materials for transport Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts (if certified) Maintain accurate inventory movements using a warehouse management system (WMS) Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Assist with receiving, replenishment, and general warehouse duties as needed Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality performance standards Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous warehouse, picking, loading, or material handling experience (preferred) Ability to read pick tickets and follow instructions accurately Basic math and counting skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and reliability Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to [X] lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures Work Environment Warehouse or distribution center setting May require overtime, weekends, or shift flexibility Fast-paced environment with productivity goals #J-18808-Ljbffr Backyard Products
