Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift 3:30 pm 12:00 am

What's a typical day as a Warehouse Operator? You'll be:

• Assisting with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
• Matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences
• Filing requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributing items accordingly
• Marking materials with identifying information and recording amounts received or distributed
• Assisting in physical inventory counts and maintaining accurate records via computer
• Preparing parcels for mailing and maintaining warehouse safety and organization
• Performing facilities maintenance duties and wearing proper safety equipment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience
• Possess previous experience in warehouse shipping and receiving
• Can regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs
• Have knowledge of MS Office and strong mathematical skills
• Are comfortable with physical demands such as standing, handling objects, reaching, and occasional lifting
